Jila helped us purchasing our first home in the bay area two years ago. She was so good that we hired her back this Sept to buy a new house in Sept 16, in the same time sell the old house. Jila has helped me with three properties so far. The most telling experience is about 3 years ago, I was living in a one-bedroom condo and was thinking about moving into a two-bedroom. And sure enough there was one unit that became available in the same complex as my one-bedroom. I immediately called Jila and - she was able to sell my one-bedroom and buy the two-bedroom and both escrows closed within one week apart!!! You can imagine the skills involved for that to happen! Jila is very friendly to work with, highly professional and friendly, and diplomatic, with eyes on the solutions all the time. I trust her very much. We bought our Burlingame house in a very hot seller's market with Jila in May of this year. She acted quickly and decisively, and we were able to get the home at asking price despite the fact that the seller had hoped for more. We also got an inspection contingency period even though most people were forgoing that to make the offer stronger. What allowed this was the fact that the seller's agent knew Jila and her reputation. In fact, we presented our offer in person at the agent's office, which was a great move for this situation in particular. The seller's agent spent two hours talking his client into taking our offer. There were two other homes of the same size and the exact price range on our street and they both sold way over asking, so I feel that we got a great deal. She also moved quickly with all the inspections I wanted (and I was not in the area) so that we felt secure completing the transaction. She also kept our long-term goals in mind with this property and absolutely did not steer us to max out our house budget. This is an agent who cares, who will listen to what your ultimate objective is, and work accordingly. Jila's experience and reputation will both work in your favor.
